An ordinary 8-year-old boy, Timmy, moves into a new house with his family. He finds a glove in the garage, uses it to accidentally activate a Live Garage, and becomes chief engineer. There, Timmy also meets the enginixes, comical living creatures that transform from toolboxes. The Living Garage, together with engineers, helps the boy in the difficult but fascinating task of improving toys that come to the garage for help. When Timmy makes an upgrade, he is so inspired that he works in dance!
